Well, let's talk about the DTM. A series which really struggles lately although it started so good in 2000.

The next race is in Brands Hatch this weekend, on the Indy Circuit. I don't really expect much but maybe we might actually see a decent race. I hope so atleast.

Particularly not on the Indy circuit. Such a waste.

BTCC is good everywhere though tbh.

Champcar was horrible, though.

That was the worst race I ever attended.

Does anybody know a weather forecast? When its raining I suppose the race will be good.

DTM should just ditch these kind of circuits, I think they better fit at Donington then this mickey mouse circuit. Or just the large version of Brands

Sunday has a decent chance of being wet according to weather.co.uk and bbc.co.uk

Woop, I'm going. My first DTM meeting, first time to Brands as well. Should be good. Any recommendations where to stand?

As it's the Indy circuit, you can't really do badly anywhere. Best spots to see lots of the track would be on the inside of Druids or the top of Paddock Hill Bend.

I'm wondering how many people would attend the race if Hamilton wouldn't do some demo laps

That will definitely get a few thousand more in. But they'll probably lose that same amount to the BTCC at Silverstone.

Well, for me at least, the F1 is a bonus. I'm going for the DTM race. Oh and the single-seater races.

I watched the DTM at Spa race, and it was great seeing them flying round the circuit at such speed. But I haven't really had a chance to watch any DTM since 2005. Which is no bad thing from what I gather.

Norisring 2005 was the best race of the new DTM

That was funny.

Well, they and SEAT are from the same group, so I wasn't entirely surprised.

But yes, it was fun. Something that the DTM rarely is, which is a shame.

I never understand why they use the Indy Layout.I mean on the GP Layout they had a Chance for a good Race. But not on that little Mickey Mouse one.

The GP layout can only be used a certain number of times a year, and the touring car series that gets to use it is the WTCC. DTM and BTCC have to stay on the Indy track.
