Damn, wanted to see that Micra cup, looked crazy

No doubt YT's algorithms are all over the shop atm, I guess they've replaced a human making a decision with an automated bot scanning things and banning what it thinks is illegal content when it's legit

inb4 FOM or NASCAR / IMSA algorithms got it taken down because it thought it was one of their races

several iRacers been hit by the FOM copyright claims for streaming Miata races at a F1 track

The final Canadian touring car series stream was also taken down, but not for copyright, it said community guidelines as the reason. Someone might have been trolling and flagging the video. :x

I wonder if any of the bigger series parties owned the "video rights" of the weekend & tried to take them down, or if there was some confusion in the law group thinking that was the case

NASCAR, like F1 has had some cases where they wouldn't allow other support series & tracks have any sort of online video broadcast - because they & FOX / NBC owned the rights, such as the Super DIRTcar Series at Eldora back in 2016/17. TSN could have some sort of deal like that with Pinty's & Porsche Cup & only gave way to SRO because they had a bigger deal on CBSSN in multiple countries.

Looks like it is up again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haZBTxyFLhY

The error message said "violation of community guidelines" or something like that, and there was no copyright claimant's name.

A couple of times ELMS and WEC officially uploaded replays have been automatically flagged because some camera angle was nearly "pixel-to-pixel" same as in F1.
