This is why racing has to forget virtual safety cars, they're great for the drivers but shit for the spectators, this safety car has setup a fantastic (potentially) finish, instead of a boring one.

I think VSC is suitable for situations which can be cleaned in a minute or so. But not for longer ones.

As I understand, the chequered flag was thrown one lap too early.

The result will be taken from lap 33 which means Marciello is 8th and Lynn didn't overtake Canamasas.

Basically the similar situation happened in F1 at China two years ago.

Saw my first FCY last week at WEC Spa, it was the sadest thing I've ever seen on a racetrack. Those cars crawling past with the engines producing a horrible noise because they're going too slow. Safety Cars rule!

Just found out that the USA is getting more coverage for GP2 this year, as NBC is now live streaming the races on their Live Extra app along with the delayed television coverage

race #2 already started, pretty clean so far.

No world-feed commentary on the NBC stream, shocking as I thought I heard Buxton was helping with that this weekend? (fully okay with having just engine sounds tho)
