Just came back from le Mans racetrack.

It was the best event I have ever been. It was the first time I went to Le Mans and I don't regret it at all even if I missed a great F1 race.

Clio Cup, Formula FR2.0 WEC, Formula Renault 2.0, Formula Renault 3.5, Eurocup Megane Trophy & a lot of demo runs, it can't be any better.

Big crowd (I think we bet the record) the grandstands were full of people. Fantastic track for the WSBR meeting, friendly drivers, nice weather, fantastic racing with some great crashes, spins and airbones. 8O I am surprised by the amonth of crashes I saw this weekend. I have to say that I was in the right grandstand at the best time, I saw most of them. :p

That was awesome, WSBR is better at Le Mans than Magny-Cours for sure.

Anyone Frenchies went to that event ?

Oh and I forget: WSBR rocks.

I wasn't that impressed at Silverstone but then I feel they chose the wrong layout....

Did you take pics or videos? :? ;)

Does ANYONE broadcast/cap World Series by Renault any more?

I recorded the crashes with my camcorder. The crash at the start of the FR2.0 Race 1 was huge but I didn't record it well, thanks to the fence. Well you can see the airbone.

Sport+ still broadcasts the races and I'm capping them. But I don't have time to post videos.

Here are the 2 photos of the airbones.

Strange, maybe that site is only working for French people.

I uploaded them on my website, they should work now. :)

I am sure there will be a lot of photographs & amateur videos of the crashes.

Amateur video of the Formula Renault 2.0 start crash.

I watched my recordings, and they looks crap. I didn't zoom enough at the start because I wanted to cover the whole field which was a stupid idea. :whistling: They was also a heavy impact at the start of the 2nd FR2.0 race.

Wow...I think every year the World Series by Renault has some form of airbourne crash at the first chicane! 8O

Thanks for the vids so far, I look forward to more...

Yeah you're right, in 2005 they was a near flip in Formula Renault 3.5 and a flip in Clio Cup. In 2006, a near flip in Formula Renault 2.0 and in 2007 the WSBR meeting was at Magny-Cours.

I will try to post my amateur versions later. ;)
