they should strip the winglets of it, sharkfin is ok I think

while F1 is removing its addons the feeder series are adding more and more of them, while when F1 had tons of them the feeder series had none

they should follow F1

I liked the cars in their previous bodywork better. Still, having missed the last two visits to Brands, I'm looking forward to seeing the series this year... they always provide some good entertainment. Just hope the grid size isn't too small.

Oh and I don't mean to be pedantic, but it's International Formula Master (no "s")

Some feeder series have followed suit and removed the winglets, bargeboards etc from their cars.

But yeah, the '09 IFM car is pretty ugly...

Dont need to worry about how ugly the car is, knowing this class, itll be rearranged by the first corner.

James Grunwell will most likely race in IFM this year, hes been testing with one of the teams, and he impressed them. Just needs to find the budget.

Usually the case, I know of one driver who in my opinion is a mega talent and should be overseas racing F3 or something, but he isn't racing because he dosen't have the money

It's the biggest problem in motorsports. If it wasn't for how expensive motorsport is, there would be so many more drivers. I know a guy who raced Brandan Hartley when they were in karts, and he always beat him, but he never had enough money to do open wheel racing in NZ, let alone in europe, and now brandan Hartley is a reserve driver in F1. But you do need money in motorsport if you want to be good.

day 1 of testing at Spa wich should have taken place yesterday was cancelled because there was snow on the track

Image

yesterday team ISR commented that testing would start today

the Formula Master organisers stated today the test would completely be cancelled and replaced by testing at Brno 21 and 22 April 2009

Brendon :p

I remember Alonso saying a few years ago that the best drivers aren't in F1 and that there were some really really good karters he raced against, but skill on the racetrack won't necessarily get you to the top, it's gotta be the whole package plus one hellva lot of luck

Yeah luck is also involved, no joke, brendon just became a totally different driver when he stepped out of karts, because apparently he like never won any kart races or anything. Now hes a f1 reserve driver.

I only drove karts and not real racecars, but from that experience I could immagine some very good drivers their drivingstyle are just not compatible with karts
in karts there is only 1 drivingstyle that realy works I think, in motorsport there are several

Damn Eurosport France HD is showing Tennis. I'll have to watch it on Eurosport International in SD with English commentary.

According to the commentators, Zanardi had a massive crash this morning in WTCC.

I'm watching on TV (Eurosport)

Well, obviously I don't have a TV. And even if I did, I wouldn't pay 20€/month for the channel package that includes Eurosport.
