I think the question here is: How did the safety work go astray like this? A sausage kerb there is overthinking stuff to an absurd extent. Keep it simple stupid. That could never had happened if there was still grass and gravel there.

And please, remind me. When was the last serious accident at the Parabolica that was made worse by grass or gravel? F1, F2, F3, amateur series, when did that happen?

That crash was insane, this guy was very lucky.

Besides that having seen the plans last week I can also confirm no asphalt will be added to Zandvoort for next year

That crash in Austria might come close. Blue car. Think it was also F3 but cant remember names.
