Juri Vips will drive the ex-Ticktum\O'Ward car for the final round next weekend. https://www.autosport.com/other/news/14 ... -sf-finale Lots of speculation that this means that Red Bull are about to swing the axe on O'Ward, and they might, but there are other plausible explanations. It could be that Red Bull simply want Pato to drive something else a little closer to home next Friday morning. EDIT: In this case Occam's Razor does apply. Red Bull have chosen to let him go. Looks like Auer and Vips as their two drivers in this series next year. |

Marko liked having Pato in the program but without license points it wasn't going to work out as the plan was fast track to F1.
