There must be a new FIA rule that teams and drivers are not allowed to manage the conditions and legally it's now the responsibility of the series to ensure cars are on the right tyres for the conditions because the amount of times we get red flags now for a slight bit of rain is ridiculous.
As a racing fan growing up, you'd be massively excited about approaching rain because you know it meant the race was about to get crazy and maybe someone can gamble on an early tyre change and unexpectedly win.
Now I'm beginning to dread it as if we were watching American racing and it means "end of race"
