Haha I've just noticed that this IndyCar race thread has double the amount of pages than the previous record on TBK Light (discounting Indy500 ofc). The average page count is about 6 haha.

Really entertaining race weekend tho; hopefully this is the trend for more races this season. 8)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Will Power had to drink milk on the podium, just like in Indy 500! They gave him a bottle of milk and he was, "WTF!"

One of the best races of Indy/Cart I've ever seen. The 1 mile long straight was aproved for overtaking. :D

So much for the people saying this race would suck lol, really entertaining bare to the bones racing.

I thought the track was really decent as well, forgetting all the LOLs regarding the concrete strip. Had some nice challenging corners, and those straights made overtaking possible. Still reckon they should ditch the no blocking rule and allow a single move to defend a position, but hey - good race.

Me too, but then you gotta think about it. Do you want cars hopping wheels and going airborne, ala Jeff Krosnoff. Thats a dangerous result ur toying with on a street course if you allow blocking.

I only saw the last 15 minutes of the race from a blurry justin tv's Brazilian feed, with Portuguese commentary, which I couldn't understand anything. Still that 15 minutes managed to beat yesterday's F1 race by a mile. Really great race!

I'd like it so it was legal to take the inside line into a corner forcing your opponent to try the outside, but moving them over once they have got alongside was illegal.

But I guess a series which has such roots in oval racing, where none of that is acceptable, has to be consistent with their rules.

Silvestro was having brake-problems, that was causing her falling back.

Just for comparison F1 in Bahrain had 19 passes during the race. Mostly in the back of the field where Kubica and Sutil where fighting back.

Don't forget that Sutil and Kubica dropping back in the order due the first lap collision might also be counted in that list. Also tyre stops and first lap overall probably covered about 15 of those passes.

I liked the Aussie Racing Cars at Adelaide on the weekend. 21 lead changes in a 7 lap race.
