Lotus stopped developing engine in January and those are effects.

Lotus should have never went with F1 program. Indy program would cost them 1/5th of what they spend in F1.

I think they might reach 227 mph without tow. With tow 230 mph shouldn't be a problem.

EDIT: that last lap from RHR was with a small tow from Carpenter
