I don't care what people say; I'm loving that thing in oval trim! +If it races like it did in Alabama on roadcourses who gives a ..... what it looks like this year.

...I just hope we get rid of pack racing on ovals.....

It looks better in Indy trim, maybe because the rear wing is more "radical" than conventional.

Still doesn't mean overall it's a good looking car though.

Seriously something in me says that Lotus got their priorities all wrong. Can't they focus more on the current teams they are supplying engines too, and not on a one race effort with Alesi.

Don't get me wrong, I like Alesi. But he's only there because of his name, he is too old IMO.

I don't know who I feel more sorry for. Newman Haas or Alesi. Probably NHR.

I'm not into Indycar racing and I don't know anything about Newman-Haas and or Lotus and Alesi is probably way to old. But reading the news that he will be attempting for the Indy 500 made me smile. I really love him as a driver, unfortunately I haven't seen him racing that much, only on video's etc. He might even be struggling to qualify for the race, however this news makes it already worth watching for me. Watching the race on Dutch tv might be a problem though...

So the solution for the crippling understeer in oval form was simply to cut bits out of the rear wing so the planes no longer touch the endplates? What a stunning bodge job.

You used the whole link when you just need the 'VirtnBs3-YA' bit.

22 Oriol Servia Dreyer & Reinbold Lotus
25 Ana Beatriz Andretti Chevrolet
26 Marco Andretti Andretti Chevrolet
27 James Hinchcliffe Andretti Chevrolet
28 Ryan Hunter-Reay Andretti Chevrolet
30 Luca Filippi (R) RLL Honda
38 Graham Rahal Chip Ganassi Honda

I have a possible of 32 entries so far. Bernard says Honda and Chevrolet are able to prove engines to more entries, as he expects Lotus to expand just for one more (Alesi) and claims he's confident we'll get more than 33 entries. Dallara claims to have 60 DW12 built so far.
