Just seen the crash. That was a hard hit, very lucky to walk away from that one.

So does the pitstop challenge actually count towards anything?

I missed the Lights race -- does anyone know where and when it could be replayed? :(

Props to IZOD for supporting Indycar and all, but their commercials are the worst I've ever seen. Do they make clothes for anyone who isn't a pop-collared douchebag?

That wreck was HUGE. I was on pit lane when it happened...lots of hands on heads. I hear he was airlifted to hospital awake and alert...apparently took the wheel off by himself, good news I guess.

I read earlier today on a Venezuelan site that he had a fractured right leg. I know that he had broken his leg a few months ago (and even driven with a broken leg). Same injury, or did he just re-injure it? All I've seen in the news is that he was "awake and alert" when removed from the car and that he "managed to stand up to exit the car". He also Twittered Friday evening that he has left hospital but is in a lot of pain. No mention of any specific injury.

One of these days someone is going to get walloped by another car as they're skidding across the track upside down, and it's going to end differently. They've been "too lucky, too long".
