Formula E seems pretty well financed tbh.

So is F1, but they aren't the one financing the new circuit constructions.

They are actually planning exactly this for the future. And turbo jumps, obviously.

You mean unlike all those other series that have cropped up and quickly died throughout the last 15 years?

If the DJ computer thing starts the races like this, it'll be the best series:

Someone needs to re-edit the race start with that music and sounds in the background.

Here, you could even get them to do their trick where the track unfolds around the drivers before the race starts.

Wow, apart from the slight kink after turn 7 which'll probably be flat out there's no interesting corners at all. Not looking forward to the race there!

At least it's sort of on the old Bicentennial Park circuit before the arena was built.

I read it was just 2.17km, so a mickey mouse track.

Are those jumps between turns 2 and 3, and on the exit of 4? Would certainly keep the gaming theme going :P

Cool to see it is on the site of the old Bicentennial circuit...that was an interesting layout but they messed it up.

The layout looks boring but the racing will be entertaining. :)

All the Formula E tracks are short in length. It isn't exclusive to Miami.

Malaysia - 2.5km / 1.5m
Uruguay - 2.8km / 1.73m
Argentina - 2.44km / 1.51m
Miami - 2.17km / 1.34m
Long Beach - 2.1km / 1.3m
Monaco - 1.93km / 1.2m
Berlin - TBA
London - TBA

The cars have good torque and low top speed, Formula E know what they're doing when it comes to track length.

The cars are slow enough that track lengths don't have to be long, plus having the shorter track lengths gives them greater flexibility to have circuits in city centres without causing too much disruption

I liked everything I saw so far in FE. Looking forward to the next races.

Can't help but have an A1GP feeling when watching this series.
