I just want Cleveland and Road America back, but not to replace any other track. There's enough gaps in the schedule.

Does Cleveland have a different mayor yet?

If that is him, then no. Next election year seems to be 2017.

So Parker Kligerman will be testing an Indy Lights car.

Four car Penske attack? That's interesting.

I guess they need the extra data for the new Aero packages. Pagenaud certainly deserves it though.

I've just caught up with the usff2000/star mazda show on motors.

Good grief that was some intense racing. ...acrimonious racing across all 4 races with a lot of wrecks, passes, heros and villans....
I won't spoil it while its still airing but give it a watch if you can, then report your rage back here!

No, they just want Pagenaud. The aero kits are just very minor tweaks, compared to the work they used in the off-season to do before the spec-era, and then they usually only had two cars. Even the before the 1994 Indy 500 they used only a single car for testing. Speaking of, BEAST is a great book!

Great news! Now will they use the full circuit or the r-oval that the Stockcars sometimes use?

"Oval" would be 11/10 but I highly doubt they'll use it

Is a very Aero-push track, that can be bad for racing, but can also be good. I was there for an Stock Car event and loved the atmosphere. May go again if I can afford the air tickets.

The layout is a good one - no slow corner or chicanes. Just lot's of medium and high speed corners with the same width and radius. Very old school. I really hope they keep it for the Indy race.

A lot of track improvements will probably be made, I only hope they are more like grandstands and paddock buildings and run-offs. Nothing to do with the track layout or the abrasive tarmac. Though the tarmac could be remade, providing big speeds. Either the outer ring or with the infield, the track characteristics remains.

That actually looks pretty cool. A lot longer ie. less tight and twisty than it looks in the pictures.
